Terms of Service.
The terms for using the Vantage Technologies website and the general framework for discussing potential projects.
Last updated: 9 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to use of the Vantage Technologies website (“the site”). By accessing the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you do not agree, discontinue using the site. Mandatory consumer rights and other rules that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
2. Permitted use
You may browse the site and follow its links for lawful personal or business purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security, introduce malicious code, misuse forms, or use content in a way that infringes another person's rights or violates applicable law.
3. Intellectual property
The VT brand, original design elements, text, code, and site materials are owned by or used with permission by their respective rights holders, unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute protected material without permission or a valid legal basis. Third-party assets and services may be subject to separate licences.
4. Portfolio concepts and external links
Portfolio entries labelled as concepts are shown to demonstrate design direction or technical capability. They do not imply that the featured business commissioned, purchased, approved, or endorsed Vantage Technologies. External links lead to third-party websites for convenience; VT does not control their content or availability.
5. Service descriptions, quotes, and project scope
Website descriptions and starting prices are informational and do not automatically form a binding offer for every possible project. A project becomes an agreed engagement only after the relevant scope, deliverables, price, timeline, payment arrangements, revisions, client responsibilities, and other material terms have been accepted in writing by the parties.
6. Pricing and payments
Prices shown on the website are proposed introductory starting prices and may not include taxes, domain registration, hosting, subscriptions, premium assets, payment-processing charges, third-party services, or out-of-scope work. The accepted proposal or agreement determines the actual project price, payment milestones, currency, due dates, and any applicable charges. No universal deposit, refund, or payment schedule is created by these website terms.
7. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate project information, timely feedback, necessary approvals, and materials they have the right to use. Clients must not request work that infringes intellectual property, violates law, or misrepresents a business. Delays in receiving required content, approvals, or access may affect the agreed schedule.
8. Revisions, changes, cancellation, and refunds
Revision limits, changes to scope, cancellations, and refund arrangements must be stated in the applicable proposal or project agreement. Additional requirements may need a revised price or timeline. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory rights or remedies that apply under relevant law.
9. Deliverables and ownership
Ownership, licensing, transfer of rights, source files, and third-party components for paid project deliverables should be expressly addressed in the accepted project agreement. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, this website alone does not transfer ownership of VT's pre-existing code, tools, design systems, brand assets, or third-party materials.
10. Hosting, maintenance, and third-party systems
Hosting, domain management, ongoing maintenance, updates, backups, security monitoring, and subscriptions are included only when the accepted scope says so. Third-party platforms may change their pricing, availability, terms, or technical requirements independently of VT.
11. Availability, warranties, and liability
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but the site is provided subject to availability and may change. To the extent permitted by applicable law, VT does not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every item of general website information will always be complete or current. Any project-specific warranties and applicable limits of liability should be set out in the accepted agreement. Nothing here excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful.
12. Privacy
Personal information handled through the site is described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the website or business practices. The effective date should be updated when revised terms are published. For questions, use the contact route at /contact. The governing law and appropriate business identity should be confirmed before public launch, taking into account applicable mandatory rules.
